Der er mange naturskønne og spændende steder på Suderø. Dem skal vi selvfølgelig besøge.

På færøerne siger man altid ” hvis vejret tillader det” og vejret har vi ingen garantier for. Inspirationen til at male får man ved det skiftende lys, som tilkendegiver det færøeske vejr.

Steder vi besøger:

Sumba er den sydligste bygd og meget malerisk. Der ligger Beinisvørð, et forbjerg, med en fantastisk udsigt.

Hvalba og Sandvík ligger nord for Tværå, to bygder der virkelig er et besøg værd. Disse to bygder har givet mange kunstnere inspiration til deres billeder.

Hvannhauge et af øens smukkeste steder. Vi går fra Tværå. Det tager ca en time at gå hver vej. Der vil man opleve en fantastisk udsigt nordover. Kursisterne vil få en stor malerisk oplevelse.

Farverne på Færøerne er meget klare om sommeren. Den grønne farve er meget stærk.

Hvannhauge is one of the most beautiful places on the island. From Tværå, it takes about an hour each way. From there you will see an incredible, picturesque northern view.

The colour scheme of the island is very bright in the summertime, green, especially, is very strong.

Hvalba and Sandvik are situated on the northern part of Suderø, and it's really worth a visit. They have been inspiration for many artists. Once you have been there, you'll know why !

Places we visit;

Sumba is the most southern part of the Faroe Islands, and is very theatrical. Here you´ll find cape Beinisvørð, from which you will have a fantastic view.

On the islands, the saying goes; 'if the wether allows'. Naturally, there is no guarantee for good weather, but the special light and changing weather will be a key source of inspiration.
